New Traffic System for Hereford Galvanizers
Our Hereford plant (Hereford Galvanizers) has recently modified its workplace transport flow to help increase site safety. The new system involves making some areas one-way and others areas as two-way but with traffic given priority in one direction.
Guidance for visiting customers
Upon visiting the Hereford site, please take note of the new signage and road markings that make it clear as to where you can and can not drive. Please also note that the main driveway (that leads to reception) is now limited to 7 tonnes only. No HGVs.
1) Vehicles up to 7 tonnes only. If your vehicle is up to 7 tonnes then you may enter the plant via the main driveway and stop outside of reception. Please remain in your vehicle and we’ll come out to you.
2) Larger lorries / HGVs only. You must enter and exit the site via the alternative transport yard entrance. Please park up in the lorry park upon arrival. We ask that you leave the vehicle and report to reception via the painted walkways. Please attract the attention of a member of staff if you are unsure where to go. Please do not walk outside of the walkway areas. If you enter any buildings (reception) you must keep a safe distance from others and must wear a face covering.
I’m sure that you’ll agree that the new system is a sensible and practical measure to help keep both visitors to site and our employees safe. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
