Galvanized Gate Appreciation

Hereford Galvanizers is fortunate in being located in an area surrounded by many blacksmiths.  We like to think we have a very good relationship with this group of specialist customers and have been galvanizing for some of them for decades.  This close relationship is important to our success but is also very important to the blacksmiths themselves whose work can be complicated, delicate and a huge investment of their time. It is for these reasons that it is vital that the work be galvanized sympathetically.

Henry Pomfret is one such artist blacksmith.  He works locally out of the Bringsty Forge near Bromyard and recently brought us in some gates for galvanizing.  Henry was delighted with the results and took the time to thank us for the job we did, “I just wanted to say thanks to you and your staff for doing a really clean job on them. The care you take is very much appreciated after having spent so much time making them”.

Amongst the most recent gates galvanized for Henry were designed and fabricated for the Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross Road, Hereford.  After galvanizing, Henry has painted them.
