1964 Archie Phillips and Eric Beasey set up the structural galvanizing company in Hereford (Hereford Galvanizers Ltd).
1988 Hereford Galvanizers Ltd leases an unused galvanizing plant in Ellesmere, Shropshire from milking system manufacturer Fullwood Ltd. The kettle was L 3.0 x W 1.0 x D 1.2m. This plant becomes Shropshire Galvanizers.
1995 After seven years in Ellesmere the Company invests in a new replacement plant that is purpose built on a green fields site in Oswestry. The galvanizing kettle was L 4.0 x W 1.2 x D 2.75m and was designed to suit the specific needs of the local market.
2011 The Company sets up its Powder Coating and Shot Blasting plant at Aspect House, a stone’s throw from the Oswestry galvanizing plant.
2017 A new ash recovery plant is installed.
2020 A new and 40% larger galvanizing kettle installed in Oswestry. This one is L 4.5 x W 1.5 x D 2.75m.
